I had my stuff packed up and ready to go so when I finally got the call that it was time, I was out the door with the girls within probably 7 minutes! It was Monday night, her water broke in Walmart parking lot and it didn't take too long after that. So off I went into the blizzard like conditions. I was going 35 mph on the highway due to so many accidents up until Plainwell area. I dropped the girls off with the great-grandparents and the mom and I left for the hospital. When we arrived, she was almost a ten. She pushed for 30 minutes and Merek Anthony was born at 11:08. He weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and 20 inches long and looks just like his daddy. Here are some pictures of the next day when we took the girls to visit. Macey is in love with him. She thought he was trying to talk to her and she was so proud she was so gentle with him. She also tried her best to protect him from Kelsey's curious hands. I tell Macey that he is her cousin, but she then tells me, "I can call him my friend if I want to."

Darling pictures - love the one where everyone is gathered 'round mom and baby. It struck me that the last time this happened, it was little Kels that was born, and now she's already looking on and growing up so fast!
Just adorable ! Good thing you are very organized Jen , no easy task to take 2 little ones, bags , drop them off and get to the hospital in time.
