We had the stomach bug around here last week :( Kelsey started with it on Monday night and continued with it for three days. She felt good for almost two days and then started with a bad cold. We've been getting in a lot of good cuddling time, which I love, but would love more for her to feel 100% anyday now. I can't believe she's going to turn two in a few short weeks. Good thing we have a baby on the way because, she's definitely not my little baby anymore. In the last few months she's talking a ton and just acting more like a two year old. She's enjoying preschool more and more and starting to really learn some stuff, which is fun to see.
This is where Kels lived for a few days last week.
Macey started with the bug early Monday morning. I heard her call for me on the monitor at 4am and I knew. She handled it all much better than I thought she would. Last year when she got it, it scared her so much and she'd cry so hard everytime she got sick. This time, she was just excited that her puke was pink and not ugly like Kelsey's was :) Besides running a fever that night she recovered much quicker and hasn't gotten a cold since. She's going to be turning 4 in a few weeks, which she's so excited about and wants a princess cake with Cinderella on it. We're still in the princess phase over here big time! She starts dance class this week Wednesday (started last week but had to miss since she was sick) and has mixed feelings about it. A bit nervous, but so excited as well. She's been talking about wanting to take lessons ever since she took a class this summer where I could participate with her and now she's in the older class on her own. I'm glad Annabelle is in her class and there's only 4 kids so far signed up for their class so she should do just fine.
On days off from preschool, Mace likes to be the teacher to her friends.
Jason never got sick with the stomach bug, thank goodness! But has been really busy with basketball, school, and grad class. His team is doing decent, about a 7-6 record?? It's hard to keep track :) He's got three games this week and has to help at a basketball clinic on Saturday with younger kids. His birthday was last Friday and turned 32. The weekend before we celebrated by going out on a little date to Russ' and did some shopping while his parents took the girls. It was quite nice, especially since we haven't gone on a date in a LONG time, maybe 2 years? We need to make a point to do that more often for sure!

I had another appointment today. I am 16 weeks 5 days pregnant and I still am experiencing morning sickness :( It's not always horrible and I can eat, but just not much at all. Some days are worse and I can only handle toast. It didn't help that I caught the stomach flu last week as well. So starting tonight I will start taking a prescription pill before bed so hopefully I can eat more soon. I also scheduled the ultrasound for March 5th at 11am!!!!! We will be finding out what we're having and can't wait to share the news.
Mace took a picture of my belly tonight for me. I'm finally starting to show! I'm obsessed with pregnant bellies and can't wait to show even more. Come on baby grow!
