Splash Universe

This is how we all felt after our venture to Splash Universe :)

Jason's parents invited us to go with them to Shipshewana to stay at a waterpark hotel. They got a great deal online and we had to pick a Friday night to use it so we thought the weekend between both girls' birthdays would be perfect.

Taylie enjoyed watching all the action.

And did a little swimming herself.

Mace was much braver than I thought she'd be. She didn't mind water in her face and even went on the big tunnel slide with Jason on an innertube. But the kiddie pool was still her favorite :)

Poor Kels who is healing from impetigo AGAIN, was in awe of everything. Jason would send on down a big slide and I would catch her at the bottom until she turned going down one and banged her head. So the kiddie pool was also her favorite for the rest of the time :)

We celebrated with a princess themed party in our hotel room.

They were thrilled with their "wedding" dresses. Thanks Grammy!

Our little princess looks so happy here, but a few hours later once everyone was sound asleep, she wanted to scream many times throughout the night due to a new tooth popping through. I think Jason and I ended up with maybe 2 hours of sleep?

Besides the swimming and partying, we went to a kids dance party, ate ice cream, enjoyed the gift shop, played at the arcade and ate free breakfast. It's something we'll have to do again.

Puddle Jumpers

When the temperature outside hit 50 and the puddles were huge, the girls said they HAD to go puddle jumping. So that's what we did. Along the way, we found some friends! :)

Obsessed

So I'm a bit obsessed with taking pictures,

especially of this little girl,

who turns into a little ham in front of the camera right now.

With a face like that,

and the sun shining in,

I really can't resist.

Catching up

If we're at home, you will almost never find Kelsey in regular clothes. Before she comes downstairs in the morning, she heads to the playroom to find a fancy dress to put on or leotard. It's always a surprise what she'll be wearing. On average, she will then switch that outfit about 5 times throughout the day. She can't wait for our Fancy Nancy party tomorrow at the library!

Yesterday, Macey got 5 inches got off her hair! It was too overwhelmingly long before and too snarly so it's still long and a lot easy to manage. She's getting quite anxious to turn five. We're going to celebrate the girls' birthday at an indoor water park hotel in Shipshewana with Jason's family. Should be fun!

I tried uploading a video of Taylie but there was an error after hours of uploading :( I will have to try again some other time.

Jason turned 33 on February 5, so we headed up to Dorr to celebrate. Here he is with all his girls plus Merek.

Recently, our preschool program has been expanding! We now have 8 kids that attend with 4 moms. (that includes Taylie and Eliza because they do sit and pay attention with the big kids sometimes :) ) We have it twice a week, once at my house when I teach and once at Elizabeth's house when she teaches. I think we'd all agree that our favorite time is after the lesson, craft, and lunch when us moms enjoy a cup of coffee and let the kids play. We really enjoy it!

I've recently been taking on more photoshoots for fun. I'm now on the lookout for more cheap props and backgrounds to have more options during the winter months. Here are a few of my favorites that I've taken recently.

Well, that's about it for now. I'm sure I'll have pictures from the Fancy Nancy party to post soon!
