Artwork

Mace and Kels love to draw and color. I keep a lot of their artwork, but can't keep it all so I have decided to take pictures of some of it before it's tossed. I love seeing what they come up with! Here's what they've made in the last few days.

Easter 2011

We spent the weekend at Jason's parent's house celebrating Easter. Even after a long night up with Taylie (she hates sleeping away from home) we all made it to church on time at 8:30am for a very nice service. The kids went on an egg hunt and Jason's mom STUFFED us with a delicious ham dinner.

In memory of my mom, Taylie wore a dress that my mom bought 4 yrs ago for Macey at Easter. My mom had found the sweater she is wearing years ago at my grandma's house unfinished. She found a lady at Meijer to finish it so it could be worn. I think Taylie looked extra sweet this Easter :)

Her daddy could kiss her to pieces!

Taylie took a liking to her great-Gram!

Checking out some flower seeds and wondering if it's candy.

No more tonsils!

Here's Kelsey all ready to get her tonsils out!

The last look at them before they're gone!

She did great going back to surgery and was cuddling with a nurse when we went to see her in recovery. It took her awhile to wake up and she refused to eat or drink, but they still let us head home.

About an hour after we got home, she was ready to play.

And eat ice cream :)

She's been doing really well since the surgery, eating and sleeping well.

Saturday morning was the first time she said it hurt, and about 10 minutes later she threw up her breakfast. We're thinking it was from her Tylenol with codeine so we switched to regular Tylenol and she's been fine since. I'm very proud of my little girl...I know that I would not be handling this near as well as she has!

Tassimo!

This little girl gets her tonsils out Thursday morning. She's not worried about it and is excited to get ice cream and popsicles afterwards. I'm thinking she'll do just fine :)

This picture creeps me out and makes me laugh at the same time. Not sure how it turned out so weird! Mace only has a few more weeks of school (May 19th is her last day) and she has some fun stuff planned including a tie dye party, gymnastics, and smoothie party.

This stinker loves to give us the scrunched up nose smile lately. She's also working on her top two front teeth...can't wait to see what the new smile will look like!
Taylie loves taking baths with her sisters and can stay in there a long time. Yesterday when I got her out, her feet were SO wrinkled. Kinda gross actually....you can click on the picture to get a better look even :)

Here is my newest bargain! It's a Tassimo coffee maker :) It's a lot like a Keurig, but using a different type of disk. I can make coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, tea, or hot chocolate. I got it at the Amish store down the road called Vern's. It was missing the lid to the water compartment so it was only $2.99!!! It sells for $169 at the store. A few days later I went back to get one for Brenda...got it home and it leaked water from the bottom so I brought it back and bought the lid from that one for $2.99....so now mine is complete and works great for a total of $5.98. The other bonus is that the other Amish store down the road sells the coffee for this machine super cheap :)

We want summertime!

Recap of the day....

I told the girls that it was going to be a warm day.

Kelsey yells, "It's summertime!"

They run upstairs to pick out dresses when I tell them we're going to take pictures with their friends.

We got blisters walking in our flip flops for the first time of the season.

The sandbox was uncovered for the year.

We got to smell sunscreen again...which I love.

Windows were opened up.

Outdoor baby swing put up...she's in love with it.

Burgers were meant to be grilled outside until we found out we were out of gas....so we had to break out the George Foreman.

Cheeks looked sunkissed by the end of the day

Summer pj gowns were dug up from downstairs.

It was a glimpse of summertime.

Just checkin' in

Just a few pictures because it's been awhile....

She loves to clap!

Mace the rockstar!

They're quite the pair together. They were

in these outfits for only 15 minutes before changing

into bathing suits for a beach party.

This is how we find her after waking up, standing up waiting for us :)

She has recently taken a liking to the pacifier. Not sure

how I feel about this yet, but it helps get her to

sleep easily and keeps stuff out of her mouth.

Showing off her new spring outfit from Grammy.

Modeling her new hat from Carol. All three girls will

by stylin' as they cheer on the Magi baseball team.

Can you tell I was left home with just Taylie for a few days? Jason's parents took the big girls for a few days so it was just Taylie, Jason and I. It sure was quiet around here.....too quiet for my liking, but it was a nice break. Poor Elizabeth had me calling all the time asking if I could come over with Taylie because I just didn't know what to do at home especially when Jason was at school or outside working.
