It was parent observation day for Macey's dance class. She has been going now for just over two months, once a week. Every Wednesday she looks forward to class and really enjoys it, as long as I wait in the waiting room. She isn't a fan of people watching her dance. This was the first time we could watch what they have learned and Macey was quite nervous about it. The first ten minutes of class today she was either clung to me in tears or holding her teacher's hand. She then warmed up to us watching her and would flash a smile here and there or come run and give me a kiss to check in. She ended up doing a great job!
Kelsey would love to take dance class, but is still too young. This class is for ages three-four, but she insists on wearing her ballet shoes or leotard to Macey's class. Ms. Lynn, the instructor, thought it would help get Macey out on the dance floor if her sister came out as well so she invited her out. When asked her name, Kelsey replied, "Juicey" (this is Jason's nickname for her..I know weird, but it has stuck) So Juicey joined the class today and she was in her glory. When asked at dinner tonight if she liked dance, she replied, "Yup, dance class with Ms. Lynn, my teacher"
