Macey fed a little lamb

Today we were invited to go along with Elizabeth and kids to our friends' Mark and Carol's farm. They have baby lambs and wanted the kids' help to feed them bottles. I was very proud of my Miss Mace for taking a bottle and feeding them right away. Kelsey was just in awe of it all and didn't mind them one bit. She kept calling them dogs and I when I would tell her they were lambs, and she'd shake her head no. All the kids had fun being in the barn and walking outside in the puddles. Mace cried when we had to leave so I know she had fun. Thank you to Mark and Carol for inviting us, we had a great time!

Good one Jen. Thanks for getting the pictures up so fast! For some reason the title of this blog made me laugh :) I'd love to meet the lambs some day.

I also loved your title...I guess it is so much like Mary had a little lamb...I am sure that is why you used it, but it was cute.
Way to go Macey. She was really a big girl, I loved her feeding the goat by herself...
As for Kels....let her think they were dogs!!!

cute pictures, what a great experience for Macey. Why do the sheep/lambs have red markings on their backs??

What a great way to learn about baby animals up close and personal. Good for you, Macey, what a BIG girl you are to feed the baby lambs! What fun....
