Today Aunt Jean was kind enough to take a day off work and bring Macey and Kelsey's great-grandpa Nykerk down to Colon to see what it's all about. He requested he wanted to make it to one of Jason's basketball games and to see our house. We were excited they made it safely here around 2pm so we had time to sit, chat, play, and eat before the game. Macey and Kelsey were quite shy at first when they woke up from their naps, but they slowly became themselves. Macey looked for Waldo with great-grandpa and Kelsey watched some Milo and Otis with him. We ate some bbq on buns and were off to the game. The Magi played tough and were within points most of the game but couldn't pull off a win. I am amazed at how grandpa can sit on those bleachers for a whole game. He didn't want to sit on the bottom bleacher either, he had to climb up to the third row for a better view I guess :) It was a fun day and we're glad they came.
Tomorrow we have Brenda and Lisa coming to visit!
It's a comfy lap to watch Milo and Otis.

Who knows what they're laughing at.

(yes, the walls are now primed and you'll get a whole blog on all of our updating here soon!)

Jen....way to go on the blogging....I am having so much fun reading them and seeing the pictures. Glad that Grandpa made it up to the 3rd bleacher....how long did it take Jason to find Macey who was hiding....
We had a wonderful time, Jen - grandpa so enjoyed everything (as did I), and he made several comments and chuckled about the visit on the way home - he got the biggest kick out of Kels and the way she shakes her head "no." And I don't know if you know, but at one point Macey went up to him with no prodding at all and game him a kiss. Well, he was in heaven. Thanks again....
