This past Saturday, our local grocery store, Village Market, held an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids. Jason's parents were visiting so Grandma and I took the girls. They put the kids at the end of aisles according to age and then announced when they could go. They could grab as many eggs as they could get. This year, both girls got a ticket in one of their eggs for a prize! Mace ended up with a basket with a stuff Easter Bunny, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk and Kels got a larger sized stuffed lamb, which she was thriled about because it was pink, her favorite color. They had NO interest in seeing the Easter Bunny, who was visiting the store, when the hunt was done :)
Kels did pretty well filling her basket. At first she was only going for pink eggs so I had to keep telling her to get the other colors as well.
Before the hunt.
I had to throw this picture in. I was cooking dinner the other night and it seemed a bit too quiet. (last time I thought that was when Macey decided to cut Kelsey's hair, which I should actually blog about) When I went into the living room, I found them like this :)
Today for preschool, Elizabeth had an Easter party for us. We hunted for eggs, decorated cookies, listened to the Easter Story, hopped like bunnies, and colored eggs.

The picture you captioned "found one" turned out really cool!
And you did just as much for the party as I did!!
Oh I love it...
What are Macey and Kels watching in the sisterly love picture?
Those cookies look so good and I love the tye dye eggs. Wish I could have visited you guys today so I could take part in the fun :)
I think they were watching Air Bud 2 or something? A dog plays football in it :)
