Blog Record Book

Kelsey at 18 months old:

Favorite foods: pasta, bread, yogurt, any fruit, and ketchup on anything.

Clothes size: 18 months pants, 18-24 month tops

Speech: mostly still one word at a time. Words I hear a LOT of, "mama" "me!" "eat!" "ssss" (sister)

Things she loves: Her Mama:) white blankie, Hi5 (tv show), dancing, doing EVERYTHING herself, copying Macey, eating, baby dolls, shoes, and taking walks.

Things she doesn't like so much: vegetables and sleep.

Potty training: For the last 3 months or so she's been interested and loves to go potty/poopy in her little toilet. She hates having a diaper on and is constantly pulling on it or refuses to get one on. She tells me when she goes to the bathroom in her diaper and wants it off. I tried for one morning to put underwear on her, but she had 3 accidents so I gave up. I might try again in a month so we'll see :)

Teeth: Right now she has one molar that has popped all the way through and is working on the other three.

We started time out with Kelsey about a month ago, but haven't done it much since she enjoys going to the corner. She is our stinker and does everything naughty with a smile on her face :)

She has such a fun and silly personality, we love her so much!

Here's a video of her repeating words after me. I love looking back at old videos like this to see how their voices and speech changes.

Macey at 3 1/2

Favorite foods: yogurt, any candy, fresh vegetables, salads, hamburgers, and waffles.

Clothes size: 3T-4T pants, just getting into 5T tops.

Speech: Oh my I don't know where to start. She talks a lot and questions EVERYTHING. She will start sentences with; "Oh dear.." "Actually..." "I'd rather...". She still isn't super clear on some sounds (s) (f). I just love her facial expressions when she talks and her tone of voice, but she has also learned to get some attitude in her voice, so we're working on getting rid of that :)

Things she loves: playing with her sister and bossing her around, sleep, Max & Ruby, Hi5, helping in the kitchen, going shopping, helping me pay, books, taking walks, gum, wearing her favorite clothes (Dora shirt, My Little Pony shirt, squishy pants (warm-up pants), and monkey shirt)

Things she doesn't like so much: being wrong at something or not doing something perfect, sharing her favorite toys, and loud noises.

Macey is our worrier. She worries if Kelsey isn't right by our side, if someone is doing something she thinks is dangerous, or if she thinks something is too close to water. (she has a fear of things falling in the water for some reason)

She has an amazing memory which she must get from her Aunt Brenda, because it's definitely not from me or Jason.

We love her curiosity and sweet personality! She's our mena-moo :)

Here's a video of her rhyming. Her good friend Bennett has gotten her into this new fun game :)

(notice the Dora and Boots stuffed in her two front pockets so Kelsey can't get them)
