This past weekend, Jason's parents along with Gram, Art, and Grandma Burgess came to visit. We always enjoy having visitors and the girls love all the attention. We had dinner here and were hoping to get some ice cream but everything was closed since it was Sunday.
This morning the girls and I headed to Aldi's and Macey picked out a new dump truck. (she's been eyeing it there for awhile and it was on clearance today) Since it was so nice out we decided we HAD to try it out at the nearby beach. Elizabeth and Denim took their kids as well so we had a picnic and let the kids play before naptime. I can't wait for more nice days like this!
We are getting anxious to head up tomorrow for Tulip Time parades, junk food, and Dutch Dancing. Me and the girls will be staying at Jason's parents' house. Macey can't wait for the parade tomorrow and I couldn't get Kelsey's Dutch costume off her today without her crying so I'm hoping they next few days will be a lot of fun!

Looks like fun ! Jen, the picture of Macey and the tulip is award winning !
Seriously that picture of Macey and the tulip belongs on a poster for Tulip Time! She looks fabulous in those leggins and the gray dress. I hope Kelsey will wear her dutch costume tomorrow? Plan to rise at 6 to reserve our spot! Better get to bed...
I also loved the grey dress and black leggins....what a fashion queen. I loved the fact that she wanted a dump truck.
Yes, you definately have to get her picture of the tulip framed and hung on the wall. Is there any such thing as a contest for Tulip Time pictures???? She would win
Totally agree - Macey and her red tulip take the prize! Little Kels just makes me smile every time I see her in a picture - she always has a gleam in her eye - you can tell she's ready to tackle the world! Both so adorable.....
