eggs, eggs, and more eggs

Macey loves looking for hidden things and loves candy so Easter egg hunts are her thing! On Thursday, I had a small hunt inside my house for my girls and Annabelle and Carly (who Elizabeth babysits). Kelsey captured two eggs and was determined to eat the candy. Mace talked about the hunt the rest of the day and we've been hiding empty eggs in the house ever since.

What do I do with this?

She discovered what was inside.

"Op! Op!" (help!)

Miss Annabelle enjoying her M&M's.

Still trying, but with M&M's this time.

I better chow since Mom's letting me eat candy!

Today our local grocery store, Village Market, had an Easter egg hunt. They divided the kids up by ages and had them stand at the ends of a designated aisle. Macey had the pop aisle :) Some eggs had tickets in them for prizes, including a new bike, but the rest had candy in them. Kelsey collected about 5 eggs, and Mace came up good with about 20 eggs or so. They hid 1000 eggs total throughout the store!

Do you see any eggs?

Getting anxious.

Go Mace, Go!

Kelsey was on a mission!

Man that looks fun! It really is a good idea to do it inside a grocery store. Were there actually any customers trying to shop during the hunt?

That's what I love about small towns - they come up with these great ideas for the kids! What fun! And look at Kels - walking hand in hand with Daddy!

how fun! We have our neighborhood easter egg hunt next saturday..we'll see what braden thinks of it..last year he was napping and it was freezing, so I didn't think it would even be worth it.
