Taylie's 2nd Bday party

This sweet little girl recently turned TWO!  We decided to have her Hawaiian birthday party out at the campground this year.  The party involved decorating flip flops and water bottles, eating subs, presents, swimming, belly flops, and cake and ice cream.

I think she had a good time! :)

Life is Good

So life at home right now pretty much feels like vacation everyday.  I am truly blessed to have my family together all day enjoying the most of summer these days.  Thanks to the VandenBergs we get out on the lake with their pontoon boat or ski boat.  Kelsey has tried tubing and we love jumping off the pontoon to swim in the lake.

The slide and slide has gotten it's full $6 worth of fun this summer.

The sprinkler is still a hit as well...

4th of July

We started the 4th of July off in Colon by walking into town for the parade.  It was HOT.  The girls got plenty of candy and we even saw our friends on a float!

We came home, packed up, and head north for camping.  We got rode the decorated golf cart in the Hidden Ridge parade.  (the parade consists of golf carts and a wagon pulled by a tractor :)  )  The kids threw out suckers and had fun.

It was a few very hot days worth of camping so we pretty much lived in the pool.  We also, did a scavenger hunt, ate deep fried Oreos and elephants ears, went to a women's expo, Mace was in a hula hoop contest, Kels won a $10 gift card to ColdStone for getting first prize on a drawing she made of Wizard of Oz, and we won lots of stuffed animals at the arcade.
