Macey is one that thinks WAY too much about things. She has been thinking TOO much about riding without training wheels all summer and has scared herself out of trying so many times. Tonight she went for it and took off! She's even laughing while riding :)

Taylie at 1 Month
For those that are wondering, Taylie is pronounced:
TAY (long A sound) LEE
TAY (long A sound) LEE
This is how Taylie has felt about her first few weeks of life :( After her complicated birth, she came home and was content for about a week, then the fussiness started. After eating she would scream in pain and regurgitate quite often or have really thick spit up. At three weeks old she gave us a good scare. It was 10:00 at night when I heard weird sounds coming from her bouncy seat. I picked her up and realized she wasn't breathing and then her body went limp. After maybe 15 seconds or so she started screaming and we thought she was fine. Then it happened again...and again....and again....so we rushed her to the ER. They diagnosed her with acid reflux and said she had a choking episode. Since then she's been on medication and it's been slowly working. She had her one month appointment today and the doctor slightly changed her meds again so she should feel even better. Hopefully after a month she won't need the meds ever again.
Also, at 3 weeks old, she appeared to be quite jaundice still so she had two more blood draws to check her bilirubin again. It had gone up to 13.8 so we were told to put her in the sun as much as we could. Today her doctor said she looked great and doesn't need to be tested again. I am so happy she's growing well- weighing in at 8 lbs 3 oz and is 22 inches long. (she was 6 lbs 7 oz and 20 in at birth) Hopefully this acid reflux issue will be her last hurdle to overcome and she will be one happy feeling girl in a few weeks! Between her bouts of screaming, we are seeing more and more smiles on her face. Jason laughs at me, but I swear when I say the words "Moby Wrap" to her, she smiles :) It's currently her happiest place to be. Thank you to those that suggested I get one, because I'd be lost without it! Happy one month my Taylie Mae :)

Inseparable
These two are inseparable. Macey is usually the boss, Kelsey usually listens to her, and they also bicker, but they are lost without each other. For the most part, they love each other and play very well together. I am curious to see how Taylie will fit into the mix someday.
I love having a sister and hope my girls will always say the same thing.
Mace is anxiously waiting to hear if she made it into preschool this year. We should be receiving a phone call any day now. She is full of questions about school and can't wait so I hope she gets in. Her only concern is that she has to give up naps, she loves her sleep. Here are some pictures of Mace being Mace :)
Kels also wants to go to school and I'm sure will be in tears they day Macey gets on a bus. Elizabeth and I will continue to do "preschool" at our houses throughout the school year again for Kelsey and Annabelle the best we can. It may be more interupted this year with nursing timeouts, etc. :)
Kels is as proud as can be that she has mastered riding a bike. She rode the tricycle for a few days but was determined to ride a "big" bike like the big kids. So here she is on the go!
