Update on baby girl #3

Last Friday, Jason took the day off and we all went to the 20 week ultrasound where we found out we're having another little girl! So much for motherly instincts because I was thinking it was a boy for the most part, not sure why, but had a feeling. I sure was wrong! But we're thrilled to add another girl to the family and for the girls to get another sister. She measured on average 5 days ahead of my due date, so she's bigger than average so far. I was relieved to find this out considering I wasn't eating much for the first 18 weeks of pregnancy. She seemed to grow just fine :) Jason thinks her profile looks like Kelsey and I think it looks like Macey. Now I can't wait to meet her, face to face. We aren't going to share names until she's born and we only have a few that we both agree on so far and they're definitely not THE name yet.
Here she is!

Saturday morning is when we threw the reveal party to announce what we're having. Here's everyone with the color shirt of what they thought we were having. As you can see, most were thinking boy. Kelsey then opened gift after gift to reveal a pink outfit for everyone to see!
It was a fun day :)

I took this picture today of me at 21 weeks along. I've been feeling really good lately as long as I keep up on my medication for morning sickness. Our house has gotten hit by some virus this past week with sore throats, low fevers, sinus pressure, congestion, and COUGHING. At night the coughing is the worst, with Jason out on the couch coughing away, while I'm in bed listening to the girls cough away on the monitors. I'll be glad when it's spring and there's no more sickness!

Birthday Parties Galore!

The girls' birthdays have come and gone. They were so lucky to have quite a few parties. Elizabeth threw a party for each girl, and we had a party at Bumpa Nykerk's house, as well as Grandma and Grandpa Burgess'. The theme was an easy pick this year, Princesses :) Macey wanted to wear her fancy Cindrella like dress and Kelsey insisted on a pink dress. I'm glad they are still into the same thing so the theme hasn't been hard to pick when sharing their parties. I'm sure this at some point will change though!

Thank you to everyone who made their birthdays so special!

Here we all are with the fancy princess cake.

Aunt Brenda always wows us with her themed cakes!
