6 Months Old

Kelsey turned 6 months old yesterday. I forgot how much fun they are at this age, as she's learning to do new things from day to day. She *thinks* she's older than she is as she intently watches every move her sister does and reaches to get down to chase after her. She is not on the move as of yet, but she can easily get into the all fours position and rocks until she takes one step with either leg or arm and then face plants. I give her maybe 2 weeks before she's on the move since she's been at the rocking stage for about 2-3 weeks now. As of the last two days, she's decided that she can sit up on her own which is so nice, as she's much happier upright looking around. She has a GREAT interest in food as you can see from her shape :) She reaches at any food we eat and brings it right to her mouth if she gets ahold of it. I've only tried cereal and vegetables so far, of which she enjoys. Lately, we've been getting more and more comments of how she resembles her daddy, especially her eyes. Her eyes are still blue with her hair getting lighter each day with a hint of strawberry in it. It's amazing how they change and how fast they grow in these first 6 months of life. We love you Kelseroo!!!!!

Here are the Pictures!

Here are some pictures from down in Colon. With so many requests I have decided to fill some of Elizabeth's computer space with a few of my pictures. So here they are!

Off to work!

Today was Jason's first day to report to school for meetings, etc. He wasn't feeling too nervous this morning and was just anxious to get started. I am curious to see how the day went. I am at Elizabeth's house right now doing laundry while the kids play. The house is full of kids, as Elizabeth started today watching a little girl named Carly (elem. principal's daughter), who is just over one. So that makes 5 kids all under the age of 3 :)

Last night Carol came over to tell about a house that went up for sale which could be a great possibility for us! We went last night to check it out, it's maybe a half mile from Elizabeth's, across the street from Palmer Lake, 4 bedroom, 1 bath, sits on 2 lots and is BLUE! Macey has been talking about wanting to live in a blue house, so this could be it. The price is a bit too high but the guy selling it seems willing to negotiate so far. I will call him today to see when we can go through it.

This past weekend, we mostly relaxed, took road trips to figure out our surroundings. Everything is about 15-25 minutes away, which is what we're used to so it's not bad. We have been going to the track at the high school to take walks/runs with the girls and working on Jason's room. Macey loves going to her dad's new big orange school!

Sorry still no pictures. My memory card is full but just no way to get them off or onto a blog yet. Don't worry I'll make up for it soon!
